In February & March 2020, I wanted to keep practicing 3D animation to help hone my skills further. Christoph (The Stoff) Schoch had released a fan-made Zelda rig based on her Breath of the Wild (1 & 2) design that I really wanted to explore. I hadn't done many cycles before, so my goal was to practice a few basics: walk cycle, run cycles, a jump, and a bit of a mix of action.

These were done before I joined the iAnimate.net Game Workshop 01 course in April, and I've not gone back to properly correct these in full since, though I've altered some movement on the last run cycle and the clipping of the cloak on the walk cycle recently. Wanted to mention this because I'm aware of the knee pops in the walk, I just want to share the exercises results from then ;). I may correct this at a later date, though I feel redoing them from scratch would be more beneficial, and I intend to re-do more walk cycles now that I've had that workshop and keep on practicing & improving! There are many rigs I want to play around with after all ^^.

Note: I also included the bonus playblast of when one of my files corrupted & the rig broke, for entertainment's sake :).

The Zelda rig is free & available at: https://gumroad.com/l/aBcqX :).
The music tracks used are "Cutthroat Crew (Acoustic Version)" and "Saloon Showdown" by Antti Martikainen.

This project is entirely personal & non-commercial, intended solely for practice ^^.
