Legends of Erayfen is a 'set' of fantasy stories I am continuously writing in my free time, the main storylines of which are is still very much under construction :)
The first cycle ("Syam's Tale", working title) focuses on Syam Naehlen, a 16-year old anxious girl who encounters an elf in an art supplies closet in the art room of her school telling her Erayfen needs her help, soon catapulted into this magical world with her two best friends as the elf sends them through a magic portal to avoid being killed by a car chasing them. In this world, Syam meets the Resistance, which hopes she is the one to help them defeat the Tyrant, a ruthless queen who took power after raging a bloody, devastating war 13 years ago. Syam and her friends (reluctantly) embark on a quest where they encounter many dangers and new friends, are forced to face a lot of their fears, and must deal with life-changing discoveries, and many more secrets that will change them forever.
The second cycle ("Chronicles of the Wind Rider") focuses on Captain Eliza Valent and the pirate crew of the Wind Rider, characters that are introduced in the first cycle and help Syam and her friends in their original quest to bring down the Tyrant. These events take place before & parallel to those in Cycle I, following Eliza, her crew, and the secrets that surround them and the ship itself. [A separate project is available showcasing character designs and illustrations for that specific cycle :)]
