The two illustrations I managed to do for Mermay 2020 :). As usual for me, includes an illustration of mermaid Roxanne, from my continuous personal stories project, Legends of Erayfen (specifically, Cycle II - Chronicles of the Wind Rider). I made the second as a doodle inspired by one of Rowskybee_makeup's looks, and to draw at least one more mermaid for May. This year, all illustrations were done with Clip Studio Paint. They are the small image size version of the original files :).

The GIF breakdowns show general steps of each illustration, which may not be chronologically exact (e.g. details in lineart were added during colouring, but are shown as part of the "Lineart" steps, ...).

It's always fun partaking in Mermay as a challenge/theme, even if it is only one or two illustrations or doodles. Since my personal stories project Legends of Erayfen is a driving force for exploring art & continuously learning, it is no surprise I at least try to draw Roxanne in her mermaid form each year for the event :). And it's fun coming up with other characters thanks to it too!
